Licenses Terms

Welcome to codesome.net. This page explains the licensing terms that govern the digital products available on our marketplace. Please read this carefully, as it defines how you can use the Items you purchase or download.

By purchasing or downloading an Item from Codesome.net, you are agreeing to these License Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.

Overview: Our Licensing Model

Each Item on Codesome.net is sold under a specific license, chosen by the Seller. The license type determines how you can use the Item. It is your responsibility to check the license type listed on the Item's product page before completing your purchase.

The main license types available on Codesome.net are:

  • Regular License
  • Extended License
  • Specialized Licenses

License Types Explained

Regular License

The Regular License is our standard license for most Items. It is designed for single-use in a single final product.

What you are allowed to do:

Use the Item to create one single End Product for yourself or a client.

Modify the Item and incorporate it into the End Product.

The End Product may be distributed for free or sold.

What you are NOT allowed to do:

Use the Item in more than one End Product.

Sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Item "as-is".

Use the Item in an End Product that is designed to allow an end user to build their own End Products with it.

Use the Item in a product that is directly competitive to the original Item.

Extended License

The Extended License provides broader usage rights for Items intended for larger-scale distribution or for sale as part of a product.

What you are allowed to do (includes all Regular License rights, plus):

Use the Item to create multiple End Products.

Use the Item in an End Product that is sold to multiple users.

Use the Item in a "freemium" model where the core product is free but premium features/versions are paid.

What you are NOT allowed to do (even with an Extended License):

Sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Item "as-is" in a way that allows others to extract and use it separately from the End Product. It must be part of a larger, integrated work.

Specialized & Open Source Licenses

Some Sellers may choose to license their Items under open-source or other specialized licenses.

If an Item is offered under one of these licenses, the specific terms of that license will override the Codesome.net Regular or Extended License.

The Seller is responsible for clearly stating the specific license type and providing a link to the full license text on the Item's product page.

It is your responsibility to understand the terms of these open-source licenses before use.

Key Definitions

Item (or Product): The digital file or files you purchase or download from Codesome.net.

End Product: The customized, functional product you create by integrating the purchased Item. This is not the Item itself.

End User: The final user of your End Product.

Seller (or Author): The individual or entity who created and uploaded the Item to Codesome.net.

Your Codesome.net account may be suspended or terminated.

You may be liable for financial damages to the Seller.
